Here are the details of the pending collective bargaining agreement between the Seminole County School District and the Seminole Education Association for the 2026-2027 school year
- Recurring salary increases for full-time classroom teachers with 10+years of Florida Public School teaching experience
- Recurring salary increases for all instructional based staff
- Specific supplement increases for Deans, School Counselors, Social Workers, Staffing Resource Specialists, Student Support Services Facilitators and SLPs
- Extracurricular Supplement increases for H.S Band and Chorus Directors
- Additional extracurricular H.S. Assistant Band Directors, M.S. Band Directors, and M.S. Chorus Directors
- All other extracurricular supplements increased by 2.5%
- Teacher make-up days process clarified with an appeal process
- Grading windows will not close prior to teacher workday
- Elementary plan time protections clarified
- Additional time to complete required trainings
- Pre-plan protections for Meet the Teacher/Walk the Halls
- Improved protections for special areas during pre-planning

- Guaranteed interviews for non-appointed teachers
